Bar & Bat Mitzvah Program

Mazel Tov!

Becoming a Bar or Bat Mitzvah is more than just a celebration; it’s a monumental milestone in your child’s life. It marks his/her transition from childhood to young adulthood. Have you thought about how to make this special day even more meaningful?

Learning to Take Responsibility for Others

Adding a meaningful element to your child’s big day teaches him/her the value of caring for others while sharing the responsibility for the future of the Jewish people.

Partnering with Shiloh Israel Children’s Fund (SICF) to celebrate your child’s Bar or Bat Mitzvah will make a lasting impact, not only on the child in Israel but on your child as well. Together, you will help change the trajectory of a child’s life in Israel, while imparting valuable life lessons about community and giving.

How You and Your Child Can Make a Real Difference

By joining the SICF Bar/Bat Mitzvah Project, your child will learn that even teenagers can make a big impact. Here are a few SICF programs they can choose to support as their mitzvah project:

How the SICF Bar/Bat Mitzvah Project Works

1

Choose a Program

Have your child choose the SICF program he/she is most excited about to support and raise awareness for the mitzvah project.

2

Create a Campaign Page

SICF will spotlight your child’s chosen cause by creating a personal campaign page dedicated to this project.

3

Share with Your Community

Your child can share the page with family, friends, and the community to spread the word and gather support. A donation form will be attached to the page, making it easy for everyone to donate directly to the project.

4

Track Success

Your child can monitor his/her campaign’s progress in real-time, counting down to the big day!

We are honored to be part of these special moments and grateful for each Bar and Bat Mitzvah who chooses to celebrate with SICF. As a token of appreciation, your child will receive:

Planning to visit

Have a Bar or Bat Mitzvah coming up in Israel? We can help you organize a meaningful program for your child in the hills of Shiloh, the first capital of ancient Israel.

Visit ancient Shiloh, where Joshua set up the Tabernacle, where Hannah prayed, and where Samuel the Prophet grew up into prophecy as a result of his mother’s prayers.

Then visit modern Shiloh, miraculously reestablished through the determination of the pioneers who have returned to their Land.

Most of all, your heart will be moved when you meet the children in our therapy programs and in the schools as they build for the future, despite the threat of terrorism and other obstacles in their path.
