“Just from our community of 450 families… soldiers have fallen in combat, a young man has been taken hostage and is still being held by Hamas,130 families have husbands/fathers away from home in reserve army service and dozens of our young adults are currently serving in the IDF.”
– Chava Kleinman*, MSW

Join us to learn about the impact of war on children and families in Israel from both a personal and professional perspective.

*Chava Kleinman is originally from Montreal, Canada and has been living in Shiloh, (a community in Samaria, Israel) for almost 30 years. She is an educator, writer and social worker with 25 years of experience working with individuals, families and communities.
