Healing the Invisible Wounds of War
Through our Mobile Therapy Unit, we bring professional trauma care directly to children and families who cannot easily reach treatment centers, especially during times of war and crisis. As some schools are still closed, families evacuate, and parents are called away for reserve duty, many children are left without the stability and support they need.
Our trained trauma therapists travel to affected children in their homes and in hotels housing evacuated families, to provide immediate emotional support, trauma-informed care, and short-term stabilization for children and families. By bringing care directly to where children are, SICF helps them process trauma, regain a sense of safety, and begin the path toward healing and resilience.
